NATCHEZ — Services for Pearlina B. Bonds, 74, of Natchez, who died Friday, July 31, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Ford officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Bonds was born Sept. 17, 1934, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Mose and Leona Lemons. She was a graduate of Gladys’ Beauty and Culture School in Natchez and was a retired beautician.
Mrs. Bonds was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church and was a member of Daughters of IBPOEW.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Elizabeth L. Jackson; and one nephew, Charles Jackson.
Survivors include one son, Robert Bonds and wife, Patricia, of Jackson; two grandchildren, Leslie N. Bonds and Robert A. Bonds and wife, LaChrisa, all of Atlanta; one great-grandson, Terrell Anderson of Atlanta; two brothers, Johnny Lemons of Natchez and Mose Lemons and wife, Anita, of Baton Rouge; a special niece, Arnell J. Dangerfield and husband, Jeff, of Baton Rouge; and a number of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Richard Smith, Rodney Clay, James Credit, James Williams, James Campbell and Calvin Butler.
