NEW ERA, La. — Services for Alison Hayes Little of New Ear, La., 49, who died Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, will be at 10 a.m. today at New Era Baptist Church with the Revs. Kevin Simms, Hughey Tarpley and Ralph Webber officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dewey Cemetery in New Era under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be until service time today at the church.
Ms. Little was born April 2, 1960 in Fort Rucker, Ala., the daughter of Wallace J. and Hazel M. Little. She was an emergency medical technician and a member of New Era Baptist Church.
She was a life-long resident of New Era and worked at Riverland Medical Center and an EMT.
Survivors include her parents; two sisters, Lisa Chandler and husband Steve and Nancy Peters and husband Ryan, all of New Era; two brothers, Jimmy Little and wife Misty of New Era and Ted Little and wife Christy of Amory and 10 nieces and nephews, Gina and Auston Chandler, Giovanna Little, Karina, Alex and Hunter Smith, Hobie and Candace Little, Logan Little and Austin Pearson.
Pallbearers will be Steve Chandler, Auston Chandler, Ted Little. Ryan Peters, Tim Charrier and Marcus Paul.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Little, Alex Smith, Hunter Smith, Hobie Little, Logan Little and Auston Pearson.
