NATCHEZ — Life is hard.

As children it was taught that “life’s not fair.”

One example of this childhood lesson is dealing with the loss of a loved one. Whether the loss is through death or divorce, each loss is unique and painful.

Parkway Baptist Church’s Recovery Ministry will to have licensed marriage and family therapist Phil Hardin as a special guest on Saturday, Aug. 22.

He will lead a seminar titled “Dealing With Loss” from 9 a.m. until noon.

Registration and breakfast will be from 8:30 to 9 a.m. This seminar will use both conversations and multimedia to explore losing loved ones by death and divorce.

There is no cost associated with the seminar, and a nursery will be provided.

In January, Parkway Baptist Church began to host the GriefShare support group.

In September, Parkway will start two new GriefShare support groups as well as start a new DivorceCare group.
