TALLULAH, La. — Graveside services for Myrtle E. Johns, 101, of Tallulah, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Coax Cemetery near Baskin, La., with the Rev. Richard Henderson and Dr. E.L. Wright officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro, La.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johns was a charter member of Taylor Bayou Baptist Church and served as secretary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Johns; one son, George T. Johns; and three daughters, Helen Johns, Madie Cupples and Dot Segrest.
Survivors include three daughters, Ethel Winborne of Winnsboro, Betty Greer Smith of Natchez and Virginia Carney of Tallulah; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
