Adopt a new furry friend Saturday

Stine Lumber and the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society are teaming up once again for the second annual Pet Adoption Day this Saturday.
A variety of adoptable dogs and cats will be at Stine’s from 9 to 1 p.m., hoping that someone is willing to invite them to become a member of the family. Cat adoptions cost $35 and dog adoptions cost $45. These fees include the cost of the spay/neuter operation, which is one of the conditions of adoption.
The adoption day process involves picking out your new pet, completing the adoption paperwork and paying the adoption fees.
Your pet will not be able to go home with you until it has an exit exam and the spay/neuter surgery is arranged.
The Natchez-Adams County Humane Society is grateful for the support of Stine Lumber and its employees.
The store sponsored a bake sale last weekend to benefit the shelter and our local celebrities, “The Lemonade Girls,” Mae Holyoak, Sophie Weber, Alexandra Person and their moms provided the lemonade. Thanks to all who contributed to the bake sale, which raised more than $600.
Hundreds of animals are in need of a good home.
Please consider adopting one or two. Stop by Stine Lumber Saturday morning to see what wonderful pet is waiting for you.
Tax deductible donations can also be mailed to NACHS PO BOX 549 Natchez, MS 39121.
Thanks to the residents of the Miss-Lou for your continued support of the Natchez Adams County Humane Society.
