FERRIDAY — Services for Dianna Gaye Fanning McClung, 51, of Waterproof, La., who died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, in Alexandria, La., will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Richardson officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. McClung was born July 11, 1958, in Artesian, N.M., the daughter of Louis and Wanda Fanning. She was employed as an office administrator.
Mrs. McClung was also the editor for SSA newsletter in Bakersfield, Calif.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Rick McClung; one son, Chance McClung; one daughter, Brandi Butler and husband, Chris, all of Waterproof; her parents; one brother, Jeff Fanning, all of Carlsbad, N.M.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Hazel McClung of Waterproof; one sister-in-law, Lynn Case and husband, Kenneth, of Vidalia; two grandchildren, Brendon and Bryce Butler; one niece, Tana Bailey; one nephew, Ty Case and wife, Courtney; special friend, Amie, her black lab; and a number of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Craft, Roper Craft, Ethan Craft, Mavo Craft, Robby Powell and Ty Case.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Case, Mark Prestridge, Bruce Reynolds and Chris Butler.
