NATCHEZ — A Natchez man was treated and released from Natchez Regional Medical Center Sunday after he was shot in the leg near a local bar.
Natchez Police Chief Mike Mullins said officers were dispatched to Natchez Regional where Daiquiri Gaylor, 23, reported he was shot near Club 3121 on East Franklin Street.
Gaylor reported he and two friends were in their vehicle, of which Gaylor was the rear passenger, when an unknown gunman opened fire on the vehicle.
The vehicle, a 1999 Oldsmobile, was shot three times and Gaylor was hit once in the leg, Mullins said.
No arrests have been made.
