WOODVILLE — Services for Ellis Eugene Earls Sr., 56, of Woodville, who died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Matthew Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mr. Earls was born Jan. 29, 1953, in Woodville, the son of Horace Mack Earls Sr. and Dora Lee Carter Earls.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and one niece, Veronica Adams Stokes.
Survivors include one son, Ellis Eugene Earls Jr.; his father; the mother of his son, Kimberly Coleman Earls; one sister, Norma Adams of Baton Rouge; three brothers, George Earls and wife, Christine, of Baton Rouge, Horace Mack Earls Jr. of New Orleans and Thomas Earls and wife, Ellen, of Woodville; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
