JONESVILLE — Services for Keith Brooks, 51, of Jonesville, who died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, in Parhams, will be at 10 a.m. today at Parhams Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Knapp and the Rev. Dwayne Carlock officiating.
Burial will follow at Adams United Methodist Church Cemetery in Auburn under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mr. Brooks was born July 17, 1958, in Liberty, the son of L.E. “Bo” Brooks and Reece Junkin. He was employed as an oil field driller.
He was preceded in death by his father; one son, Eric Dwayne Brooks; and one brother, Lionel Brooks.
Survivors include mother of Parhams; one daughter, Samantha Nicole Wyant and husband, Greg; one grandson, Ayden Cole Wyant; and a number of family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Justin Spinks, Joshua Collins, Tonye Daniel, Tracie Brown, Justin Granger, Owen Calkins and Keith Bennette.
Honorary pallbearers will be local area firefighters.
