As its kick off for the 20th season, the Natchez Festival of Music invites you to a fabulous evening of music with a free concert, “Some Enchanted Evening — Broadway Favorites!” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Margaret Martin Performing Arts Center.
Jessica Bunchman, Will Earl Spanheimer and Michael Bunchman, some of the most talented and beloved musicians who have performed here in the past few years, will present a program of some of the most popular songs from the American stage. This is a great opportunity to enjoy hearing this wonderful music at its best.
In addition to a great concert, the festival will offer a number of opportunities to support and enjoy the upcoming year.
Discounted season and group tickets will be sold for the coming 2010 season in May. Rusty Jenkins will conduct an auction of both the artists and of exciting vacations and other items.
Drawings will be conducted for wonderful raffle ticket items. People will have an opportunity to register to play or sponsor a hole in the “Tee up for Tunes” golf tournament which the festival will have on Oct. 1 at Beau Pré Country Club and to renew or join the Festival of Music Guild. The guild is the public membership part of the Natchez Festival of Music.
There will be a cash bar and free hors d’oeuvres.
