Services for Katherine Dupree May, 84, of St. Joseph, who died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, in Tallulah, La., will be 10 a.m. Monday at Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. Joseph Odenwald and the Rev. Larry Foster officiating.

Burial will follow in Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton, La.

Visitation will be today from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Ms. May was born Dec. 30, 1924, in Forest, La., the daughter of William A. and Sarah D. Dupree.

May was a resident of St. Joseph for 56 years and a member of the First Baptist Church in St. Joseph. She was a retired Western Auto store clerk.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John F. May Sr.; grandson, Robert May; and great grandson, Connor May.

Survivors include three sons, Robert May of St. Joseph, Michael May of Rayville, La., and Larry May of St. Joseph; daughter, Delores M. Miller, of St. Amant, La.; nine grandchildren, seven grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Jason May, Connor May, Kyle Adams, Michael May, Ricky Jones and Ernest Hestle.
