Community to host jewelry sale

Fall is a very busy time for most of us, with school back into full swing, football consuming our weekends, not to mention all the other activities that we participate in.
I’m sure you will agree that activities are at an all time high. Well, Natchez Community Hospital has thrown in one more activity for the month of September and that is our United Way campaign!
So far the month of September has been very busy! We began the month by meeting some of agencies that benefit from United Way.
Tommy Jackson, from the Food Pantry, actually showed us what $3 can buy a family in need. And Sandra Davis, from the Guardian Shelter, opened our eyes as she shared from her heart.
We have also sold ice cream and homemade cookies to our employees on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We had a potluck lunch, and our employees brought their “best recipes” for all to sample. We’ve fired up the grill and cooked hamburgers to sell. And we have put together some great raffle packages with donations from many great businesses and vendors that we will continue to sell tickets through Monday.
And now, we are offering one new and exciting activity — a jewelry sale. We are transforming our classroom in the old doctor’s building on our hospital campus (129 Jefferson Davis Blvd.) to a jewelry and accessory shop for two days, today and Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 each day.
We would like to personally invite you to stop by and shop with us.
You will find some great items at great prices; everything is $6 and that includes sales tax.
Join us for a fun sale you are sure to find something that you just have to have, and best of all you will be supporting a great cause, because all proceeds will benefit the United Way of the Miss-Lou.
