Anyone tired of rain?
Thankfully, rainy days turned to sun this weekend, welcoming a new week with bright skies. And that left us smiling.
Since we are already happy, let’s take a few minutes to review the good news of last week and look forward to what the sunny skies may bring our way.
4 Community members gathered at Lake St. John Saturday for the Harvest Festival. The lake commission organized the fundraiser to raise money for lake projects. The day was a great one for friends to gather together for a good cause.
4 Natchez High School played host to a Parent University Thursday night, inviting parents to be the students for a night. The Natchez-Adams School District event is a great way to get parents involved in their children’s schoolwork, and we are happy that more than 400 folks attended.
4 A dozen students gathered outside Vidalia High Wednesday for the national See You at the Pole event. These students proudly displayed their faith in God, and we are proud they took time to pray for their school.
4 Fall Pilgrimage got off to a great start Saturday, with a few tourists even showing up early. The annual event continues into October, and we hope everyone will be on his best behavior.
Sunny skies in the forecast make next week a bright one as well, and we can’t wait to see what else shines our way.
