I’m writing to tell you of an exciting game going on in town. It’s called flying down Main Street.

The object seems to be to have your vehicle leave the ground as you speed down the hill on Main Street between St. Charles Avenue and Orange Avenue. If you go between 50 and 55mph, your vehicle is likely to become airborne.

I don’t know what the prize is, but it must be something wonderful. So many people are trying to win it.

I hope those people don’t fly over a front yard and hit one of our houses. All they would win would be a lovely gravestone. It might also end the game, as the city found a way to slow everyone down.
