NATCHEZ — Services for Carimeal “Lucy” Evans, 63, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Windy Hill No. 1 Baptist Church with the Rev. Samuel Malone officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.
Ms. Evans was born July 9, 1946, in Natchez, the daughter of Katie Evans.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors include two daughters, Jada Thomas and husband, Anthony, and Joselyn Evans, all of Natchez; one brother, Horace Evans of Natchez; four grandchildren, Kimberlyn Evans, Jacqueanette Evans, Antonette Thomas and Makayla Thomas, all of Natchez; one uncle, Otis Evans; one aunt, Dinah Evans; three sisters-in-law, Pearlie Williams and Linda Elmore, both of Natchez, and Georgia Woods of Jackson; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
