CONWAY, Ark. — Memorial services for Helen Leona Main Dickens, 95, of Natchez, who died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway, Ark., to be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dickens was born Feb. 28, 1914, in Botkinburg, Ark., the daughter of George and Annie Waldrip Main. She was educated in Arkansas and Oklahoma. She was a member of the Methodist church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 58 years, Judson Marion Dickens.
Survivors include one son, George Marion Dickens Sr. and wife, Patricia Rinehart Dickens; one grandson, George Marion Dickens Jr.; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Wilson Dickens Luther and husband, Stephen William Luther and Laura Rinehart Dickens Walsh and husband, Bradley John Walsh; seven great-grandchildren, Caroline Marcombe Dickens, Audrey St. Pierre Dickens, Judson Powell Luther, Allison Dickens Luther, Alexandra Main Walsh, Isabelle Rinehart Walsh and Augusta Dickens Walsh; one sister, Irene Main Bramlette; one niece, Jacquelyn Dickens Bradley and husband, Jack Bradley, and one nephew, John Warren Dickens and wife, Mary Alice Dickens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or the National Alzheimer Association.
