NATCHEZ — Services for Bennie Williams, 62, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Hill No. 1 Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Mercy Seat Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Williams was born Sept. 14, 1947, in Adams County, the son of Henry Williams Sr. and Rachael Johnson Lyles.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and five brothers.
Survivors include a loving and devoted wife, Mary B. Williams; two daughters, Tonya Givens and husband, Herbert, of Houston, Texas and Rachel Brown and husband, Kelvin, of Dallas; one son, Keymond Williams of Natchez; six sisters, Willie Mae Turner and husband, Wardell, Audrey Jean Williams, Brenda Clark, Alfreda Clark, Carolyn Fitzgerald and Mary Ann Williams; six brothers, Edward Lyles and wife, Annie, Leon Lyles, Roy Williams, Charles Williams, Henry Williams Jr. and wife, Irma Jean, and Cedric Fitzgerald; three grandchildren, Taylor Givens, Jordon Malone and Christopher Brown; one uncle, Lee Andrew Williams; mother-in-law, Irene Bacon; four sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
