CROSBY — Services for Martha Washington, 54, of Crosby, who died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at Villa in Jackson, La., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Crosby with the Rev. Reginald Jackson officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home in Gloster.

Mrs. Washington was born Nov. 17, 1954, in Natchez, the daughter of Willie James and Pearlena Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary Ann Hall; one nephew, Roderick Hall; maternal grandparents, George Granger and Rosie Collin; and paternal grandparents, Eddie Winter and Bessie Washington.

Survivors include one daughter, Gretel Washington; two grandchildren, Kelsee Washington and Devonn Washington; one sister, Willie Mae Washington; four brothers, Walter Washington, all of Crosby, Larry Washington of Taylorsville, Willie J. Washington of Woodville and Willie Lee Washington of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
