FERRIDAY – Services for Lamarc Anthony Meredith, 36, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, in Convent, La., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Harvest Baptist Church with the Rev. Dave Mays officiating.

Burial will follow at Garden of Rest in Clayton under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Meredith was born April 23, 1973, in Natchez, the son of Johnny Lee Hall and Jennifer Meredith.

He was a deckhand for AEP River Operations.

Mr. Meredith was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth Meredith.

Survivors include his parents; one child, Marquane Meredith; one sister, Jolanda Wilson, all of Ferriday; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
