MEADVILLE — Natchez High’s boys’ and girls’ junior varsity teams won both of their games Saturday en route to sweeping the championships at the Franklin County Junior Varsity True Blue Tourney.

The JV girls’ team first defeated South Pike 35-26 and then easily took care of host Franklin County 55-24 in the finals. In the consolation game, South Pike defeated Wesson 40-36. Franklin County got to the finals with a 37-10 win over Wesson.

Natchez High’s JV boys’ team got past North Pike 37-26 in the first round and then defeated Wesson 35-20 in the title game. Wesson defeated Franklin County 37-31 in the other first-round game. Franklin County won the consolation game by beating North Pike.
