Margaret Minor

NATCHEZ — Services for Margaret Minor, 66, of Natchez, who died Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Pilgrim Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
Mrs. Minor was born Oct. 26, 1943, in Natchez, the daughter of James Stepney and Charlotte Curtis Stepney. She was a member of Watkins Street Willing Workers Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include a loving and devoted husband, Carl T. Minor; two daughters, Felicia Minor of St. Louis, Mo., and Rukiya Minor of Natchez; one son, Carl T. Minor of Hattiesburg; four grandchildren, Raghib William and Shanteria Minor, both of St. Louis and Denzelle Minor and Lawrence Hawkins Jr., both of Natchez; five sisters, Mamie Bruce, Annie Ruth Fells and Carlisha Curtis, all of Natchez, Winnifred Curtis of Houston, Texas and Lillie Mae Frye of Alaska; one brother, Joseph Stepney of Natchez; two aunts, Eliza Johnson and Ethel Robinson, both of Natchez; one uncle, Henry Stepney of Chicago; one sister-in-law, Betty Minor of Natchez; three godchildren, Herbert Armsted and Jennifer McDonald, both of Natchez, and Estella Williams of Houston; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
