TWENTY YEARS AGO — The decade of the 1980s has five area schools – South Natchez (1981), ACCS (1982), WCCA (1988), Trinity Episcopal (1989) and Centreville (1989) – winning state football titles.
TEN YEARS AGO — Clarence Parker says he is looking forward to being a Bulldog once again after the former Natchez High and Co-Lin standout wide receiver recently signed with Mississippi State.
FIVE YEARS AGO — With the newest realignment in the MHSAA, longtime rivals Cathedral and St. Aloysius will be in different regions while Jefferson County will leave Region 7-3A and join Region 6-3A.
