FERRIDAY — Services for Helen Louise Ezell, 85, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, in Ferriday, will be at 10 a.m. today at the Pentecostals of the Miss-Lou with the Rev. Gary Howington and the Rev. Jeremy Howington officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mrs. Ezell was born Nov. 30, 1924, in Bude, the daughter of Sim Abraham Myers and Lillie Cain Myers. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostals of the Miss-Lou.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Ezell; her parents; three brothers, D.H., Bill and Huey Myers; and three sisters, Lucille Smith, Altha Mae Wright and Dorothy Hebert.

Survivors include two daughters, Deloise Blakely and husband, Joe, and Peggy Cornwell and husband, Jack, all of Ferriday; one son, Richard Ezell and wife, Melissa, of Ferriday; one brother, Robert Myers and wife, Judy, of Natchez; one sister-in-law, Marie Ezell of Vidalia; two grandchildren, Mickey King and wife, Shane, and Connie Vigil, all of Vidalia; five great-grandchildren, Misty and Kendra Vigil, Dillon, Tanner and Mackenzie King; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dillon King, Jerry Myers, Ronald “Boo” Blaney, Heath Whittington, Stephen Wells and Brandon Vickers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tanner King, Cory Myers, Billy Cliburn and Dr. Huey Moak.
