Education classes begin Jan. 7 at ASU

Natchez — The spring semester at Alcorn State University’s Vicksburg and Natchez campuses will bring tidings of good cheer this new year with the department of education selecting its first cohorts of education in both communities.

Classes will begin Thursday.

The Department of Education developed the cohort programming, which will be led by skilled faculty members to fit the needs of school system educators.

Individuals working in or interested in working in the field of education will be able to earn a bachelor’s, master’s or a master of arts in teaching degree.

The classes are part of Alcorn State University’s mission to help students achieve their educational dreams.

Our new education cohorts are designed with student’s in mind with flexible schedules and small groups providing abundant opportunities for interaction with faculty members.
