NATCHEZ — Today’s soccer games between Wesson and Natchez High have been canceled due to inclement weather and will not be rescheduled.

“It would not be right to play in the rain and the cold,” Natchez High head coach Dennis Hogue said. “They’ve (Wesson) got three games next week and two of them are district games. We’ve got three games next week and two of them are district games.”

Hogue added that he hopes to get the Division 6-6A varsity boys game at Wingfield rescheduled for next Thursday. And that’s one of the three games that he said is to take place next week.
