NATCHEZ — Services for Mazie Phipps Netterville, 94, of Wilkinson County, who died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, in Prairieville, La., will be at noon today at Corinth Church of Christ in Wilkinson County with the Rev. Bernard Waites officiating.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Woodville under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Netterville was born Oct. 8, 1915, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Joe Aaron Phipps and Mattie Caffery Phipps.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lafayette Netterville Sr.; two sons, Ernest Netterville and Lafayette Netterville Jr.; one grandson, Allen Netterville; one great-grandson, Joshua Kleinman; twin sister, Mamie Linker; and five other siblings, Sadie, Sweetie, Clarence, George and Ray.

Survivors include one daughter, Shelvie N. Rodriguez and husband, Buck; eight grandchildren, Belinda Gill, Vicky Kleinman, Missy Finley, Bebe Burns, Angela Palmer, Doug Netterville, Jeff Netterville and Rodney Netterville; two daughters-in-law, Patricia Netterville Smith and Jean Netterville McGee; 22 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Doug Netterville, Jeff Netterville, Rodney Netterville, Phillip Netterville, Garrett Rodriguez and Chase Rodriguez.
