NATCHEZ — Services for Lucy Marie Davis “QP” Holmes, 67, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at noon Saturday at Rehoboth Church of God in Christ in Sibley.

Burial will follow at Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Holmes was born July 31, 1942, in Natchez, the daughter of Albert Davis and Elnora Smith Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Elnora Davis; and one nephew, Demetrius Davis.

Survivors include a loving and devoted husband, Leroy Holmes Jr.; three daughters, Geraldine Jackson and husband, David, Sharon Holmes and husband, Neil, all of Natchez, and Angela Miller and husband, Tyrone, of Vicksburg; two granddaughters, Brittni Jackson of Natchez and Darneicius Thomas of Vicksburg; six grandsons, David Jackson Jr., Deltarus Holmes, JaCorrey Harris and Jamarcus Holmes, all of Natchez, Michael Thomas and Tyree Miller, both of Vicksburg; one great-granddaughter, Dekia A. Jackson; one sister, Dianne Foster and husband, Roosevelt, of Natchez; one brother, Albert Davis of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
