Cleveland Belton

NATCHEZ — Services for Cleveland Belton, 64, of Natchez, who died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Second Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Strickland officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Belton was born Dec. 11, 1945, in Adams County, the son of Daniel Belton Sr., and Leola Jackson Belton. He was an electrician and was formerly employed by Jack Dallas Company for 37 years.

Mr. Belton was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two siblings, Carlee Barnes and Carrie Lee Lucas.

Survivors include twin daughters, Arlene Belton and Darlene Belton, both of Jackson; seven siblings, Josie Mae Jefferson, Mary Belton, Moses Belton and wife, Annette, Daniel Belton Jr., Laura Belton and Edna Belton, all of Natchez, and Abner Belton of California; three grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
