LORMAN — Services for Dixie Lee Mason, 62, of Lorman, who died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at Jefferson County Clinic, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Waterloo Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Howard Sr., officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home in Fayette.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Mason was born Feb. 1, 1948, in Adams County, the daughter of Leroy Walters Sr., and Atlanta Harris Mason. She was a member of Waterloo Baptist Church, Jefferson County Aide Society and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Alfonso, Willie and Joseph Mason; and two sisters, Derotha Jackson and Lula Mae Taylor.

Survivors include one brother, Leroy Walters Jr., of Fayette; five sisters, Alice Mason Foster of Chicago, Martha Crayton of Lorman, Shirley Walker of Terry, Mattie Bell Liggins of Vicksburg and Marilyn Davis of Lancaster, Pa.; a special loving friend, Ed Lewis of Lorman; special niece, Maria Crayton; godbrother and godsister, David and Lillie Gilson, both of Fayette; one brother-in-law, Pearl Jackson of Vicksburg; two sisters-in-law, Angella Mason of Vicksburg and Senora Walters of Fayette; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the family.
