CROSBY — Services for Everlean Griffin, 80, of Crosby, who died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Reginald Jackson officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Griffin was born in Crosby, the daughter of Rosie Burns and George Granger. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and served as the Mother Board.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Griffin; two sons, Oscar Minor and Benard Griffin; her parents; three sisters, Pearlina Washington, Liz M. Tillery and Izola Dixison; and three brothers, George, Johnny and Lawrence Granger.

Survivors include two children, Elizie Earl and Willie Griffin; three brothers, Eddie Granger, LT Granger and Monroe Granger; and two sisters, Dora Anderson and Georgia Ann Swazer.

Pallbearers will be Willie Griffin, Elzie Earls, Eric Earls, Larry Washington, Andew Smith and Eddie Granger.
