NATCHEZ — Services for Rosie Mary Johnson, 68, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at noon Saturday at Linwood Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Johnson was born Jan. 6, 1942, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Alfred Griffin Sr., and Mary Gatewood Griffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ben R. Johnson; and eight brothers, John Lee Griffin, Alfred Griffin Jr., Alonzo Griffin, Frank Griffin, Amerson Griffin and Robert Griffin.

Survivors include one loving and devoted sister, Jessie Johnson and husband, Levi, of Church Hill; two brothers, Charles Griffin and wife, Jennie, of Natchez and Elijah Griffin and wife, Denise, of Los Angeles; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
