JONESVILLE — Services for Malvie Butts, 89, of Jonesville, who died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at LaSalle General Hospital in Jena, will be at 2 p.m. today at Good Road Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Bryan Taylor officiating.

Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Mrs. Butts was born June 9, 1920, in Jonesville, the daughter of Carice Masters. She was a homemaker and was a member of Good Road Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and husband, Harley Butts.

Survivors include two sons, Glynn Butts and wife, Shirley, and Carmon Butts and wife, Carlyon, all of Jonesville; two daughters, Avis Myers and husband, James, and Mavis Williams and husband, Timmy, all of Jonesville; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jay Forrest, Glenn Butts Jr., Brad Butts, David Evans and Jeffery Cater.

Honorary pallbearer will be Timmy Williams.
