Pilgrimage Garden Club announces pageant court

Natchez — The Pilgrimage Garden Club has announced its 2010 Royal Court for the Historic Natchez Pageant. The pages, maids and generals in the Royal Court will serve the Pilgrimage Garden Club’s queen and king during their reign in the upcoming Spring Pilgrimage.
Page Sarah Saxon Falkenheiner
Sarah Saxon is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Lee Falkenheiner of Natchez. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Phyllis Falkenheiner and the late Mr. Fred Falkenhiner of Vidalia and Mr. and Mrs. David Huber of Natchez.
Sarah Saxon attends Trinity Episcopal Day School. She is a member of the Trinity Little Cherubs Dance team and has been a member of Children’s Prep Music Studio for three years. She is also a member of Jefferson Street United Methodist Church. Sarah Saxon enjoys dancing, reading, drawing and playing with her friends. Her previous participation in the pageant has been in the Little Maypole.
Page Caroline Faith Guedon
Caroline is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noble Guedon. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arch Guedon of Church Hill, and Mr. and Mrs. Ken Huff of Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Troutman of Natchez.
She is in the first grade at Trinity Episcopal Day School. She is a member of Church Hill United Methodist Church, plays soccer with the Natchez Youth Soccer League and T-ball with the Natchez Girls Softball League. She is also a member of the Pilgrimage Garden Club Junior Gardeners. Her hobbies include drawing, reading, gymnastics and playing with her cousins and friends. Her previous participation in the pageant has been in the Little Maypole.
Page James Paxton Junkin
James is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Ward Junkin. He is the grandson of Pat and Dick Junkin and Diana and Jim Nutter, all of Natchez.
He is in kindergarten at Cathedral School and is a member of St. Mary’s Basilica. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, swimming and sports. His previous participation in the pageant was in the Little Maypole.
Page Charles Christopher Nutter Jr.
Charlie is the son of Charles Christopher Nutter and Kathryn Matheny Nutter. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James B. Nutter of Natchez and Mr. Burt Matheny of Madison and the late Kathryn Lehmann Matheny.
He attends Jefferson Street United Methodist Church and is a member of the Natchez Swim Association. His hobbies and interests include swimming, fishing, and other outdoor activities, music, and playing with his dog Freddie. He has previously participated in the Little Maypole in 2008 and 2009.
Maid Brittany Leigh Allen
Brittany is the daughter of Ken and Kim Allen. She is the granddaughter of Jerard and Dixie Allen of Natchez, and Bill and Judy Williams of Brandon.
She is a 2007 graduate of Adams County Christian School, where she was valedictorian. She attends Mississippi College in Clinton where she is majoring nursing. She is a member of Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, Alpha Chi Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, BSU Leadership Team: Summer Missions and served as a delegate for the Mississippi Association for Student Nurses Convention 2009. She has made the dean’s list for four consecutive semesters. Her other college activities include Apartment Ministries, Homeless Ministries, Focus Group (BSU Bible study), Vision (BSU worship service), and Cross Section (BSU drama team). Brittany enjoys missionary work, traveling, softball, hunting, reading and acting. Her foreign missions include Ghana in 2006, Peru in 2009 and the Philippines in 2009. She has also been involved in missions to Chicago in 2007 and Colorado in 2008. She is a member of First Baptist Church of Natchez where she was a Summer Children’s Intern in 2008.
Maid Jennie Anne Allen
Jennie is the daughter of Woody and Sissy Allen. She is the granddaughter of Francis and JoElla Martin of Natchez, and late Woody Allen and the late June Allen.
She is a 2007 graduate of Cathedral High School. She is presently a junior at Mississippi State University majoring in marketing. She is a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority, Campus Involvement Committee with Pi Phi, and a member of the American Marketing Association. Her interests include babysitting, softball, tennis, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Jennie has previously participated in the pageant’s Little Maypole, Picnic, Big Maypole, Virginia Reel, Polka, Junior Bridesmaid and Bridesmaid in the wedding of Jefferson Davis.
Maid Eliza Kendall Feltus
Eliza is the daughter of William J. Feltus IV of Washington, D.C., and Mary Louise Hobson of Chevy Chase, Md. She is the granddaughter of the late William J. Feltus, III and Betsy Nelson Davis of Natchez, the late John Hobson, and Ann Kendall Haack of New Orleans.
She is a 2007 graduate of Washington National Cathedral, Washington, D.C. She is attending Rhodes College, where she is majoring in economics. Eliza is a member of the Rhodes Republican Club. Her interests include reading and ice hockey.
Maid Amanda Patricia Hinson
Mandy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hinson and Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Wilson. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hinson and Claude Pintard and the late Patsy Pintard.
She is a 2007 graduate of Cathedral High School. She is attending Mississippi State University, majoring in elementary education. She is a member of the Future Educator’s of America. Her hobbies and interests include hunting, tailgating in the Junction, Mississippi State football, and spending time withfamily and friends.
Maid Caroline Lynn James
Caroline is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Leet and Roy James. She is the granddaughter of Jean Farrar and the late Don Farrar of Natchez and Ruth James of Waterproof, La. and the late Roy James.
She is a 2007 graduate of Baylor. She is presently attending Rhodes and majoring in business. Caroline is member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority, Delta Delta Delta house manager in 2008, Tuesday fellowship, Reflections Peer leader and European studies.
Her hobbies and interests include running, traveling and reading.
Previous pageant participation has been in the Little Maypole, Big Maypole, guest at the Wedding of Jefferson Davis and the Picnic.
Maid Brandi Lee McGraw
Brandi is the daughter of Marci McGraw and Mr. and Mrs. Yates McGraw. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Lee of Kansas City, Mo., and Ms. Betty Jo McGraw and the late Rogers McGraw of Woodville.
She is graduate of Cathedral High School, and is attending the University of Southern Mississippi majoring in speech pathology. Brandi is a Lucky Day Scholar, member of The Legacy and Tri-Delta Sorority.
Her hobbies and interests include spending time with family and friends, learning to cook and swimming. She has previously participated in the pageant in the Little Maypole, Page for the Court, Big Maypole, Picnic, and the Polka.
Maid Caroline Ashley Schmitz
Caroline is the daughter of Hunter and Charlie Spiers and Mitchell and Cindy Schmitz. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Van Stewart of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schmitz of Water Valley.
She is a 2007 graduate of Cathedral High School. Presently she is attending Ole Miss majoring in graphic design with a minor in English. She is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, Wesley Foundation, Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, Leap Frog Volunteer, and is on the dean’s list. Her hobbies and interests include painting, drawing, writing, and Ole Miss football. In the pageant she has previously participated in the Wedding of Jefferson Davis, Little Maypole, and Polka.
Maid Amanda Shae Trippe
Amanda is the daughter of Melanie Trippe and Chris Trippe. She is the granddaughter of James and Dorothy Holder, C. F. “Buck” and Carolyn Trippe, all of Natchez.
Amanda graduated from ACCS in 2007. At ACCS she served as a member of the Key Club, Cheerleader, Rebelette, and the Student Council. As a senior Amanda was selected as most beautiful.
In addition, Amanda took ballet for 16 years at Natchez Ballet and performed in the yearly production of the “Nutcracker.”
After high school she attended Copiah-Lincoln College where she was a cheerleader. She currently attends Hinds College where she is pursuing a biology degree and a career as a dental hygienist.
Amanda enjoys animals and spending time with family and friends. Her previous pageant participation includes the Picnic, Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Placard Bearer, the Can-Can and Fannie Elssler for seven years.
General Elliott Andrew Ater
Elliott is the son of Susie and Al Ater. He is the grandson of Eugene and Ann Thompson of Vidalia, and the late LaVonne Ater and the late Don E. Ater of Ferriday.
He is a 2007 graduate of Trinity Episcopal High School. He is attending Mississippi State University majoring in Banking and Finance. He is a member of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity. He attends Jefferson Street United Methodist Church. His hobbies include water sports, bird hunting, reading and traveling. Previous pageant participation includes the Big Maypole, Picnic, Showboat Under-the-Hill wheel roller, Groomsman in the Wedding of Jefferson Davis.
General Hayden Scott Butts
Hayden is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Butts. He is the grandson of Mr. Lucius Butts, Jr., the late Mrs. Hilda Butts, Mrs. Pauline Smith and the late Mr. Flavius Smith, all of Natchez. Hayden is a 2007 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School.
He is currently attending East Mississippi Community College where he is majoring in business. Hayden enjoys golf and watching LSU sports.
His past pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Wheel Roller, Polka, Raising of the Flag and the Confederate Flag Runner.
General Stephen Paul
Calvin Dillon
Stephen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dillon of Vidalia. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Maxie of Vidalia and the late Anabel Maxie of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Dillon of Vidalia.
He is a 2007 graduate of Vidalia High School. After completing a two year program at Co-Lin Natchez, Stephen is attending ULM in Monroe, majoring in radiology technology. He is on the college honor roll, and a recipient of the Outstanding transfer student scholarship and member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. His hobbies include football, volleyball, softball, and hunting. Previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Raising of the Flag, Showboat and the Polka.
General Hudson MacGregor Fuller
Hudson is the son of Susan A. Sharp and Kevin R. Fuller. He is the grandson of Stella Sharp of Natchez, the late R. B. Sharp, and Ken and Judy Fuller of Dallas.
He graduated from University Laboratory School, Baton Rouge, in 2008. Presently he is attending Millsaps College majoring in finance with a minor in education. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Order, First Presbyterian Church, Natchez, Millsaps football, Ducks Unlimited, and Mississippi Tree Farm Association. His hobbies and interests include family, church, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and coaching sports.
He has previously participated in the pageant Little Maypole, and the Hunt.
General David Thomas Jeanson
David is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jeanson and Mr. and Mrs. Jamie Kimbrell. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Jeanson of Tryon, N.C.m, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Marion of Natchez.
He is a 2008 graduate of Cathedral High School. He attends Copiah-Lincoln Community College and is majoring in economics. David attends Jefferson Street United Methodist Church, pledged Phi Delta Theta at Mississippi State University, and is member of Relay for Life Team Co-Lin. His hobbies and interests include tennis and golf. In the pageant he has participated in the Little Maypole and the Polka.
General Jonathan Davis King
Jon Davis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert King. He is the grandson of the late Mrs. Katherine King Dark and the late Mr. Huntley King both of Greenville, Mrs. Dorothy Stebbins Mackey of Leesburg, Fla. and the late Dr. William Howard Mackey, also of Leesburg.
Jon Davis is a 2007 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School and currently attends Louisiana State University. He is majoring in philosophy and pre-law. Jon Davis enjoys basketball, golf, tennis, flag football and piano.
His past pageant participation includes, Little Maypole, Showboat townsperson, Wedding guest, Picnic, Big Maypole, Wheel Roller, Confederate Drummer, lead in the Virginia Reel, Polka and Groomsman in the Wedding of Jefferson Davis.
General Nathan Fox Leigh
Nathan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Edward Leigh. He is the grandson of Mrs. John Paul Fox of Hattiesburg, formerly of Natchez, and the late Mr. John Paul Fox, and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Sims of Natchez.
Nathan is a 2007 graduate of Trinity Episcopal High School and is currently attending Mississippi State University where he is majoring in broadcasting. At Mississippi State, Nathan has received the Academic Excellence scholarship and has been named to the dean’s list and the president’s list. He is a member of the Student Broadcasting Association.
He enjoys playing in his band, Aviator Ominous, and also enjoys reading and fishing. He is a member of Jefferson Street United Methodist Church. His past pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Showboat, Polka, Flag Bearer in the Raising of the Flag, and Groom in the Wedding of Jefferson Davis.
General Matthew Chase Sanders
Matthew is the son of John and Melinda Ballard. He is the grandson of Patricia A. Aguillard and Mr. and Mrs. Rayford Aguillard, all of Lake Charles, La., and Mrs. Basil G. Ballard of Natchez.
He is a 2007 graduate of Cathedral High School. Presently he is attending the University of Mississippi majoring in political science. Matthew has been involved in Youth Legislature from 2003 through 2007. He was voted House Sergeant at Arms and appointed Senate Messenger.
He served under Lt. Gov. Amy Tuck in 2006. In addition he paged for Governor Haley Barbour in 2007 and was selected to attend the Conference on National Affairs in 2007. Hobbies and interests include art, competitive swimming, dance and ultimate Frisbee.
His previous pageant participation includes Big Maypole, Picnic, Virginia Reel, Polka, Soiree Sweetheart.
