Ferriday — Randy Ward of Goldman Equipment Company, a John Deere dealer in Ferriday, was elected to serve as president of the Deep South Equipment Dealers Association headquarted in Baton Rouge.

Rnady also served as Deep South’s president in 2004.

Ken Vines of Goldman Equipment in Waterproof was re-elected to serve as a director of the association.

The annual business session took place at the 65th annual convention at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in New Orleans.
