CENTREVILLE — The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics discovered a large quantity of methamphetamine ingredients at a Wilkinson County residence Thursday night.
“The number of reactions we found could easily produce more than a hundred grams of methamphetamine,” MBN Director Marshall Fisher said.
A gram of methamphetamine sells for about a hundred dollars on the street.
Meth precursor items discovered by officers include 40 hydrochloric acid gas generators as well as approximately five ounces of sodium hydroxide, three quarts of sulfuric acid, 40 pounds of ammonium nitrate, a quart of camp fuel and a pound of salt.
Tracy Lynn Havard, 37, 793 Macedonia Road, Centreville was charged with manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.
Jason Dewayne Havard, 34, who was not home at the time, is wanted by the MBN on the same charges as his brother.
Centreville Police Department and Amite County Sheriff’s Office assisted the MBN in the week-long investigation.
