As a teenager, it is hard to comprehend that your life can change in the blink of an eye.
I am proof that it can. Preparing for my discharge from the Methodist Rehabilitation Center, I realize the long road which lies before me.
Next month, I will transfer to Atlanta for additional therapy. With all of your continued support and prayers, the will of God, and my hard work, I have faith that I will walk again.
I am in awe of the great place that we live — Natchez. The burdens placed on my family are heavy, yet we have been assisted by so many of our friends and neighbors.
Words cannot express the appreciation that I have for each of your acts of kindness. The support, love, prayers and contributions have been overwhelming.
I would like to give special thanks to Unity For Strength, Big M Supply, Sysco, The Fish Fry and the Markets. You have gone above and beyond for Matthew Rymer and me.
I cannot thank you enough. We live in a great town and it shines through during tough times like these. God Bless!
Dylan Pressgrove is a Trinity Episcopal School junior who was injured in a car accident on Canal Street on Jan. 1. He was discharged from Methodist Rehabilitation Center in Jackson Thursday.
