Maises Mayberry

NATCHEZ — Services for Maises H. Mayberry, 68, of Natchez, who died Saturday, March 20, 2010, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at King Solomon Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Prentiss under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mrs. Mayberry was born March 20, 1942, in Prentiss, the daughter of Gaston Holloway Sr. and Genora McNair Holloway. She was an educator in the public school system for more than 30 years. She was also a member of King Solomon Willing Workers, Usher Board, Vacation Bible School worker, president of Jefferson County School Retirees and volunteer at Natchez Community Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gaston Holloway Jr.
Survivors include two loving and devoted daughters, Euphemia Holloway and Johnalynn Mayberry-Alexander and husband, John; two grandchildren, Kylan Dennis and Josiah Donigan; two brothers, Terry Holloway and Isom Holloway and wife, Rosie D.; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
