Two men arrested for embezzlement

NATCHEZ — Two men are in police custody after embezzling more than $500 worth of parts from Bad Boy Buggies.

Robert Lee Wilson, 43, 214 Broadmoor Drive, and John David White, 22, 201 Traceway Drive, are both charged with embezzlement and are being held at the Natchez City Jail without bond, Natchez Police Lt. Craig Godbold said Friday.

Godbold said Wilson and White, who both worked at Bad Boy, were stealing tire winches from the business and selling them on the streets. Both men were arrested Thursday.

“We’re still working to recover more winches,” Godbold said. “(Wilson and White) didn’t have access to any cash. They were just stealing parts from where they worked.”

Goldbold said police investigators have recovered some tire winches from unsuspecting buyers.

The incident remains under investigation and additional arrests are pending.
