FERRIDAY — Services for “L’il” Ray Pitts, 46, of Ferriday, who died Friday, April 9, 2010, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Lloyd Trisler officiating.
Burial will follow at Pitts Family Mausoleum in Ferriday under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
“L’il” Ray was born Sept. 13, 1963, in Hayti, Mo., to Ray and Rena Pitts. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Jonesville. He was employed as a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, John and Grace Pitts; maternal grandparents, Cecil and Pearl Keown; and one uncle, Rex Keown.
Survivors include his mother of Ferriday; three daughters, Elizabeth, Savannah and Victoria Pitts; one grandson, Blayne Pitts, all of Yuma, Ariz.; one aunt, Dorothy Toton; two cousins, Larry and Gary Toton; five special friends, Jay and Margie Curtis, Michele Curtis, Melissa Davis and Robert and Beverly McCulloch; and a number of friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
