TICA — Services for Don Alan Smith Sr., 54, of Hermanville, who died Monday, April 19, 2010, at River-Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brad Hartzog officiating.

Burial will follow at Utica Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith lived in Utica and the Rocky Springs community for a number of years. He was a 1973 graduate of All Saints. He retired from BellSouth after 33 and one half years of service.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Edward Smith Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Smith; one son, Don Alan Smith Jr. and wife, Caitlin, of Utica; one daughter, Linda Ann French of Hazlehurst; his mother, Faye Smith Willis and stepfather, Don Willis, of Vicksburg; one granddaughter, Lauren Alexis French of Hazlehurst; two stepsons, Chris Whitehead and wife, Missy, and Waylon Whitehead and wife, DeeAnne, all of Natchez; two stepdaughters, Jackie Kerben and husband, Bubba, of Meadville and Sarlett Etheridge of Alexandria, La.; two brothers, George Smith and wife, Bonnie, of Bellevue, Wash., and Jack Smith and wife, Polly, of Vicksburg; three nephews; two nieces; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Britt Mitchell, Mark Mitchell, Dean Moulder, Mike Tart, Rick Rocha and Wayne O’Brian.
