FROGMORE, La. — Services for Jimmie Jerome Buford, 55, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Rapides General Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. L.B. Oliver officiating.

Burial will follow at Mount Zion Church Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Buford was born Jan. 31, 1955, in Ferriday, the son of Leneaster Clark and Etheldria Buford. He was employed as a barber.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Wilson Buford; three sons, Kevin Buford of Augusta, Ga., Stephon Buford of Conway, Ark., and Dayton Davis of Ferriday; two daughters, Dericka Humphrey and husband, James, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Montiga Allen of Conway; one brother, Larry Buford and wife, Tammie, of Monroe, La.; two sisters, Shelia Buford of Atlanta and Connie Buford of Shreveport, La.; six grandchildren; and five aunts.
