On behalf of the board of directors of Concordia Recreation Distarict No. 3, I take this means to offer our appreciation to the public for their support and positive comments relative to the proposed new recreation facility in Vidalia.

Our existing facilities are well maintained and are somewhat satisfactory; however, we have simply outgrown them and the need for larger and better equipped parks, equipment and fields is a prevalent one.

Our board of directors has worked diligently to bring this proposed facility to fruition. This project has been “on the drawing board” for several years. Many hours of planning have gone into this project while striving to conserve tax dollars.  The sole intent of the board is to provide safe and healthy recreation facilities for the youth and adults by creating a sound and reliable recreation program.

In light of these facts we ask that you vote on May 1 in support of the extension of the current tax which is dedicated to Concordia Recreation District No. 3. Your taxes will not be raised; just extended. Thank you for your support.
