WOODVILLE — Services for Ruth O. Turner, 77, of Woodville, who died Friday, April 23, 2010 at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be noon Monday at Magnolia Baptist Church in Woodville with the Rev. Harold Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at East Cedar Rest Cemetery in Woodville under direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Monday until time of services at the church.

Ruth Turner was born Jan. 5, 1933 in Woodville, the daughter of John and Clara Walker Bolden. She was a retired housekeeper for Wilkinson Schools.

Survivors include three sons, Joe Louis Bolden and wife Romayne of Chicago, Bobby R. Turner and wife Cynthia and Cadelious McFarland; two daughters, Pauline T. Sims and husband Terry and Regina Thompson and husband Willie; daughter in law, Dannie Bolden; one brother, Charles Bolden; three sisters, Alma Jones and husband Ardis and Edna Stirgus, all of Woodville, and Olivia Smith of Chicago; one sister-in-law, Shirley Bolden of Woodville; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
