NATCHEZ — Services for Henry Philip “Pete” Frank Jr., 73, of Natchez, who died Friday, April 23, 2010, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Assumption Catholic Church with the Rev. David O’Connor and the Rev. Mike O’Brien officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. Monday until time of services at the church.

Mr. Frank was born Sept. 4, 1936, in Natchez, the son of Henry Philip Frank Sr. and Irene Williams Frank. He retired as a captain from the Natchez Fire Department after 20 and a half years service. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Robert Alonzo Frank.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Cooper Frank; two daughters, Wendy Frank Freeman of Brandon and Jan Frank Wilson and husband Dave of Natchez; one son, Henry Philip “Buddy” Frank III and wife Pam of Natchez; five grandchildren, Jesse Philip “Chopper” Freeman, Jessica Lauren Snyder and husband Mike, Henry Philip “Slick” Frank IV, Dana Diane Freeman and Michael David Wilson; one sister, Sue Melton and husband R.L. of Natchez, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Kimbrell, Kenneth Burnette, Mikal Rogers, David Gordon, Kelly Johnston and Mark Cupit.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Natchez City Fire Department, Dr. Walter Shelton, Dr. Brian Barksdale, Dr. Edward Rigdon and Dr. Ed Daly.
