FERRIDAY — Services for Ernest Louie Goff, 62, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, April 25, 2010, in Alexandria, La., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Melton Rushing officiating.

Burial will follow at Oakley Cemetery in Gilbert, La., under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Goff was born Feb. 25, 1948, in Chattanooga, Tenn., the son of Edward and Geneva Goff. He had been a resident of Vidalia for four years. He was a retired painter and was a member of Clayton Pentecostal Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Thomas and Gary Goff.

Survivors include his wife, Fannie Jones; one sister, Joyce McEntire of Byron, Ga.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Michael Cain, Lee Roy Cain Jr., James Dempsey Cain, Robert Ernest Rollins, David Davis Dobson and Ronnie Bernard Hancock.
