BATON ROUGE — Services for Alvin Dominque, 87, of Baton Rouge, who died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Baton Rouge with the Rev. Michael Thompson officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Cemetery in Baton Rouge under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mr. Dominque was born May 27, 1922, in Irwinville, La., the son of Stanley and Josephine Juge Dominque.

Mr. Dominque was a veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecile DeCuir Dominque; two sons; and one sister.

Survivors include three sons, Joseph R. Dominque and wife, Lois, of Morganza, La., John G. Dominque and wife, Mildred, and Andre M. Dominque and wife, Suzette; four daughters, Carolyn Davis, Stephanie Bell, Vanessa Spencer and husband, John, and Bridgette Edwards and husband, James; two brothers, Henry Dominque, all of Baton Rouge, and Arthur Dominque and wife, Janice, of San Antonio, Texas; four sisters, Louise Rozier and husband, Anthony, Mary “Tee” DeCuir and husband, Alvin, all of Baton Rouge, Elnora Frilot and Cecilia Dominque, both of California; 27 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
