DOLOROSO — Services for Mae Ruth Bell, 77, of Lockport, La., who died Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rosehill Baptist Church in Doloroso with the Rev. Howard Bell officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bell was born June 14, 1932, in Doloroso, the daughter of Celia Noble and Mitchell Wilson. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, John C. Bell; one grandson, Terry Hester; and one brother, Milton Wilson.

Survivors include three daughters, Annie Mae Delaney, Freda G. Bell and Queen Ester Bell; six sons, Roosevelt Bell, Clarence Bell, Sam Bell, Henry Bell, Charles Bell and James Bell; and one sister, Charlestine Jones.
