NATCHEZ — Services for Winnie Mae Brown, 70, of Natchez, who died Friday, April 23, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Green Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at Hunt’s Cemetery in Roxie under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Brown was born Aug. 20, 1939, in Adams County, the daughter of Ben and Delia Hunt Johnson. She was a member of Morning Pilgrim Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Joseph Brown Jr. and Joseph Burkhart; two sisters, Isabelle Brown and L.D. Davis; and four brothers, Charlie Johnson, Henry Johnson, Bennie Johnson and Alphonso Johnson.

Survivors include three loving daughters, Cheryl Potts, Rose Mary Dotson and Barbara Prudhomme, all of Houston, Texas; six devoted sons, Tremaine Brown, Kendrick Brown, Darnell Brown and Jerry Brown and wife, Carolyn, all of Natchez, Elvis Brown and wife, Felecia, of Houston and Randolph Brown and wife, Kela, of Dallas; 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
