WOODVILLE — Services for Lyn Dell Fields Wilson, 46, who died April 26, 2010, at Field Memorial Hospital, will be at noon Monday at Pleasant Green Baptist Church with the Rev. Roosevelt Henley officiating.

Burial will follow in East Cedar Rest Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Wilson was born Sept. 23 1963, in Woodville to L.C. Fields and Ruby S. Wilson. He was a graduate of Wilkinson County High School and a former correctional officer with the Louisiana State Penitentiary.

He enjoyed fishing and barbecuing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby S. Wilson; two aunts, Cassie Anderson and Brenda Joyce Fosselman, grandfathers, Prince Albert Wilson and Grant Fields; grandmother, Ollie Fields and great-grandmother, Lucille Williams.

Survivors include father, L.C. Fields; grandmother, Pearleana Wilson, six brothers, Froya L. Fields, John Fields, Lee Dell Wilson, Michael Fields, Shawn Swazer and Thomas W. Swazer; two step-sisters, Joyce Henford and Lisa Renfro and three children, Lawanda Shatrice Wilson, Laron Demeteri and Lyn Dell Wilson Jr.
