JONESVILLE — Catahoula Parish will have a “Very Special Arts Festival” from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Jonesville First Baptist Church.

The event is organized by the Catahoula Parish School District’s special education classes.

The theme is “Life on the Bayou,” and students will be displaying arts, performing and participating in fun and games.

Author Tommie Townsley of Sulphur, La., will be reading and signing her children’s books.
